Dr. Comer is a professor in the Department of Health Sciences at the Indiana University School of Health and Human Sciences. She received her degrees from Indiana University in Bloomington. She completed a medical ethics fellowship at Indiana University Health. Acute stroke treatment, end-of-life care, and medical ethics are some of the research done by Dr. Comer. She uses her research to promote health laws and policies. She is an associate professor of family medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine and an associate professor of law at the Indiana University McKinney School of Law. She is a member of the Eskenazi Health Medical Ethics Committee, a research scientist at the Regenstrief Institute in Health Services Research, and a scholar at the IUPUI Center for Translating Research into Practice.
